Dining Room Tips

• A chandelier should hang about 30 inches above the dining table in a room with 8 ft ceilings. Add 3 inches for every foot higher.

• Width of chandelier should be based on size of the room. Measure the width of the room in feet and double the number and call it inches. So for a 12 foot wide room, get a 24 inch chandelier for best impact.

• For comfortable dining experience, allow for approximately 24 to 30 inches of tabletop for each person

• There should be 8 inches between the tabletop and dining chair seat.
